You will serve as a Financial Technician in the Customer Personnel Support Division, Accounting Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will assist with the processing of travel commitments and obligations, enters manual travel orders and vouchers into Navy ERP.
You will review processed travel transactions to ensure that the data is accurate in accordance with all travel regulations.
You will review financial transactions for errors and prepares accurate adjustment transactions in accordance with functional team and Comptroller guidelines.
You will assist on help desk and has knowledge of Help Desk procedures.
You will work with other team members, team leads, and supervisors to coordinate operational support and to provide a high quality of service to all customers in a timely, professional manner.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
DG-03:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band (DG-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following:
1) Performing data entry, utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel; 2) Verifying and reviewing financial documents and data; 3) Reviewing, understanding, and complying with established financial policies and regulations; 4) Providing customer service on financial and/or accounting matters.
DG-02:
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-03) or pay band (DG-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Performing data entry, utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel; 2) Assisting with verifying and reviewing financial documents and data; 3) Communicating clearly and effectively both written and verbally; 4) Providing customer service on financial and/or accounting matters.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
DG-03:
4 years above high school
DG-02:
Successful completion of at least two full academic years of education above high school

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
