You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the CYBER/SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will directly supervise a team of multidisciplinary scientists and engineers on basic and applied research and development projects.
You will provide oversight and guidance on research and development projects, including proposal development, planning, executing, overseeing research, development, test, and evaluation of technology and hardware capabilities.
You will develop strategic Cyber S and T proposals and whitepapers and coordinate between project and Division management, including supervising employees developing emerging cyber technologies and applications.
You will collaborate with various cyber DoD commands to assist in identifying gaps and R and D cyber challenges, and to provide advice and guidance on a wide range of cyber topics.
You will provide technical supervision and expertise, track information associated with personnel actions, New Professional tours, training completion, performance and promotion status, and DAWIA status.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge in project management of Science and Technology programs supporting offensive cyber programs, including cyber effects and battle damage assessment of cyber kinetic and non-kinetic effects.
