About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation.
Duties
Responsible for all Personnel Security programs to include oversight of the Foreign Disclosure program, emergency management planning, program, continuity of operations program, administrative investigations, and other areas of responsibility.
Provide authoritative information and assistance to management officials by advising on personnel security policies and other related issues.
Manage the operations of an ID Card Office.
Perform full range of formal first line supervision for subordinate employees and informs them of pertinent policies and procedures and changes to technical and administrative guidelines.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is position requires a Tier 5 background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
- This is a drug testing designated position.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
- This position is subject to the provisions of the Lautenberg Amendment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Analyzing policies and regulations to plan, organize, and coordinate security programs; 2) Interview applicants to resolve questions concerning derogatory information developed during the investigation; 3) Evaluating reports and investigations to maintain security; 4) Provide authoritative information and assistance to organization officials to include advising on security policies and formulating and recommending security requirements.
