Duties

Serves as the Materials Handler (FLO) in a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) location. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Materials Handler (FLO) . Position responsibilities include: Receives incoming property, equipment and subsistence items in trailers or vans. Prepares shipping and inventory documents with required data for manual or automated inventory systems. Documents and reports overages, shortages, or damaged items to supervisor. Operates forklifts, pallet jacks to receive, or deliver merchandise. Stores and rotates products using proper inventory techniques and procedures. insures that received merchandise, supplies, and equipment and properly accounted for and matches the contents of shipment against the appropriate documents for verification.
