Duties

You will inspect or investigate assigned vehicles for an organization. You will maintain records of vehicle assignment for government-owned and Government Services Administration (GSA) or commercially leased assets to support operations. You will submit requests and process reimbursements for General Services Administration (GSA) vehicle maintenance. You will compile mileage reports to verify maintenance and safety inspections of vehicle are conducted and documented. You will analyze operational reports, plans, and work schedules to identify anticipated problems.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing, recording, or compiling information related to transportation; 2) Conducting or assisting with investigation complaints or errors with assigned vehicles; 3) Analyzing, reviewing, and preparing reports from vehicle transportation and safety programs; 4) Collecting vehicle usage and maintenance information to document vehicle conditions such as damage and/or misuse.
