You will serve as a ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROL MECHANIC in the Industrial Plant Equipment and Tool Maintenance Shop (06B), Hull Division (TRF-310), and Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will serve as an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic in the Command Department (TRF-100), Facilities and Equipment Planning (TRF-106) in Kings Bay, Georgia. You will repair or replace defective/problematic machine tool components, assemblies, subassemblies, and parts such as microprocessors, integrated and discrete solid-state circuits, vacuum tubes, transistors, etc. You will perform various tests and operations on machine tools to ensure proper operation following repair and maintenance actions. You will perform related duties including quality control coordination tasks required to ensure the quality of products/services resulting from work performed.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Knowledge troubleshooting malfunction of complex systems and possess knowledge of a variety of microprocessors. Knowledge interpreting electronic, electrical and mechanical drawings, specifications and schematics of complete system. Knowledge preparing and implementing programs and performs necessary operations on N/C machine tool electronic controls and indicating and recording systems. Knowledge demonstrating the ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, blueprints, and sketches and to visualize objects in three dimensions. Knowledge planning and developing the sequence of operations necessary to troubleshoot data conversions and processing units of electronic controls.
