You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL SCHEDULER/EVM ANALYST in the NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will provide independent and accurate cost and schedule analyses and assessments.
You will independently analyze cost and schedule variances.
You will prepare data in tabular, graphic, or narrative form.
You will provide visibility into all cost and schedule data for program management use, with the assurance that the data is timely, accurate, and properly relates to cost and schedule.
You will serve as lead and member of an Integrated Baseline Review where the team is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the contract performance measurement baseline.
You will utilize knowledge and insight gained to provide a basis for initiation of action affecting policy/directive, methodology improvement, and procedures.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
Performing assigned portions of the analyses of contract performance information and reports.
Analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting the contractor's progress in relation to proposed plans, current and potential overruns, schedule slippage, and funding shortfalls.
Providing independent and accurate cost and schedule analyses and assessments.
Summarizing and reporting findings from studies/analyses completed.
Serving as a primary focal point for program and Government scheduling matters as they apply to EVM implementation and contractual requirements.
Supporting other members of the Cost Team by sharing information from the analysis of EVM reports and explaining how it might affect future program costs.
