The primary purpose of this position is this position is: To serve as an Inventory Management Specialist within the Cryptologic and
Cyber Systems Division across multiple branches, programs, activities, and diverse mission disciplines. To provide item management support for life-cycle sustainment.
Duties
1. Determines current and future supply requirements.
2. Determines distribution and positioning of equipment and/or key material among major supply stations,
stock points, or COMSEC accounts.
3. Prepares recommendations and directives for the procurement of material.
4. Monitors planned or scheduled material requirements and funds availability.
5. Performs Inventory control, equipment accountability and management.
6. Participates in systems training and problems associated with supply systems.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- A security clearance may be required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: 1) Applying a working knowledge of inventory management regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and work methods applicable to assigned EKMS systems. 2) Providing knowledge of policies and procedures for requisitioning and issuing key materials and maintaining control of system privileges. 3) Using a knowledge of office automation software procedures and techniques to produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats such as designing and generating reports, briefing materials, and comparable documents. 4) Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating EKMS management programs and system. 5) Planning and organizing work. 6) Applying knowledge of applicable customer services standards and ability to maintain good working relations. 7) Providing knowledge of structure, contents, codes, internal and external interfaces, update procedures and uses of communications networks, automated systems, and databases. 8) Applying a working knowledge of sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance or advice to resolve EKMS supply and system problems. 9) Using a knowledge of procedures and precautions to be taken in the operation of key materials, and in the physical and electronic movement of EKMS materials to meet required security and safety standards. 10) Operating and maintaining computer systems, equipment, software, and hardware and training initial users on operating procedures. 11) Analyzing computer network, software, and hardware problems and referring or developing effective and economical solutions.

EDUCATION: successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related to the position being filled. COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: I have a combination of experience and graduate level education as described above. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1.Knowledge of a wide range of supply concepts, principals, and practices to include use of automated systems and/or equipment; of DoD, NSA, AFMC, AFLCMC, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division logistics procedures and policies; and of acquisition processes, automated records, logistics systems, and the storage, issue, and disposal processes.
2. Knowledge of specialized analytical methods and techniques to resolve difficult inventory management issues and problems; and budgeting, procurement, and funding processes related to inventory management functions.
3.Skill to interpret, adapt, and apply inventory management guidelines as it pertains to assigned specializations and functions; and to independently analyze and resolve difficult inventory management issues and problems, and to consider and apply several alternatives.
4. Skill providing technical advice in terms of oral and written briefings, reports, and provides training opportunities as well as makes recommendations to senior leadership; and in carrying out assignments, operations, and procedures in the occupation that are significantly more difficult and complex
5. Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of inventory management to interpret policy direction for specific operating requirements, or to develop guidance for applying inventory management policies, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods to a variety of work situations involving various degrees or levels of control.
6. Ability to apply inventory management laws, regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, principles, and methods to plan for inventory requirements and accountability.
7. Ability to plan, organize, and reprioritize work to meet changing deadlines and develop timely and economical solutions.
