Duties

Assists in maintaining accountability records and in performing shelf inventories Incumbent may perform physical exertion such as long periods of standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, pushing of loaded trucks; and recurring lifting of heavy items such as boxes of books or journals. Provides technician support by performing a wide variety of direct services, registers patrons, charges/discharges materials, assists with interlibrary loans and reserves, prepares displays, programs activities, answers basic reference question.

Requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade, Or Two years of education above high school, Or A combination of specialized experience and education that equates to 100% of the qualification requirements. Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistants.
