You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FRCSW Business Development Division Office of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will develop supporting data and technical controls required to monitor organizational compliance with milestones and performance criteria for assigned weapons systems or subsystems.

You will develop, analyze, and maintain management information and reports.
You will monitor contractor progress in meeting contractor provisions.
You will participate in a verity of evaluations, review boards and conferences designed to assess progress in attaining assigned weapons systems ‘management objectives.
You will act as chairman of the team, provides policy guidance, sets support requirement dates and oversees the team progress.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-9 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1.) Assisting higher graded specialists in Integrated Product Support (IPS) planning by gathering facts, defining problems, and planning and developing milestone and performance criteria for assigned items and/or services. 2.) Preparing, or assist in preparing, IPS documentation to include statements of work, material fielding, basis of issue feeder plans, provisioning plans, and other similar or related documentation. 3.) Participating in developing segments of the Integrated Product Support (IPS) planning involving all phases of life cycle management, e.g., from conception, design, and development through production and deployment to final disposition, for assigned items and/or services. 4.) Compiling information, defining problems, and proposing alternative solutions to issues addressed in IPS plans. 5.) Researching and evaluating logistics support concepts for portions of different projects. 6.) Receiving advanced training and developmental assignments.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-7 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Developing supporting data and research and coordinates product and logistics support requirements and methodologies for assigned equipment/systems. 2) Analyzing strategic plans, activity/unit missions, and inter-service agreements to determine support required. 3) Providing input to, mobilization, contingency, and emergency planning and guidance for execution of plans in assigned area. 4) Analyzing policies, procedures, and regularity requirements, and assesses their impact on current support operations. 5) Preparing briefings, reports, analysis, and recommendations to assist in future formulations of logistics/product support program planning and execution.

Education
For GS-0346-11 applicants only: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
