About the Position: This position is located in the USAG Fort Stewart Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division, Personnel Operations Branch.

Duties

Provide staff assistance in relation to training. Use automated programs to track scheduled training courses. Manage an automated training system to support training requirements. Develop standing operating procedures for use and operation of facilities. Summarize results of student and instructor course evaluations to provide input for possible changes.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary duty travel of 5% may be required.
  • Employee will be required to work irregular tours of duty to include nights, weekends, and holidays in order to perform on call duties.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) updating and maintaining training schedule to meet training objectives 2) establishing internal suspense files/logs for the section to facilitate ease of data compilation and to expedite report submission 3) providing recommendations on training schedules to coordinate training events 4) delivering short repetitive training courses to relatively small audiences. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
