Duties
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and advisor for all Readiness mission planning and execution requirements.
Aid in coordination with Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, CSAs, interagency partners, DHA Senior Leaders, Defense Health Networks (DHNs), Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), and other stakeholders as necessary.
Input Modifications and New Universal Joint Tasks (UJTs) thru Joint Staff J-3/5 via organizational point of contact (OPOC) process.
Serve as program analyst on strategic capability/UTC development and fielding for medical units in support of the DHA Medical Service mission
Participate in completion of the annual Strategic Readiness Assessment (SRA) and National Military Strategy (NMS) assessments.
Ensure DHA’s adherence to policy, regulations, and statutes to ensure compliance during the development and execution of Readiness program fulfillment.
Build cradle-to-grave processes for exercising and validating the Agency’s Joint Mission-Essential Tasks (JMETs).
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access. A pre-employment and recurring comprehensive background investigations are required.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to consent to participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
- Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting the development of agency guidance; providing training to internal and/or external parties of the agency; and developing long-range objectives for command programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required specialized experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the specialized experience qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Using Time Phase Force Deployment Data (TPFDD)
Knowledge of Military Health System
Knowledge of the organizational structure within the Department, OSD, the Joint Staff, the Services, Defense Agencies, and Combatant Commands.
Experience with the Joint Force Readiness Review (JFRR) process.
