This position is located within the Operations Division of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs' (OFCCP) Mid-Atlantic Regional Office. The purpose of the OFCCP is to enforce, for the benefit of job seekers and wage earners, the contractual promise of affirmative action, and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal government.
This position is Inside the bargaining unit.
Duties

Major Duties:
Reviews results from quality audits, identifies trends in deficiencies, and makes training recommendations to regional management.
Prepares written reports of audit results, including recommendations and comments for Area Office review and implementation.
Assist the regional Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Coordinator with responding to FOIA requests and maintaining records.
Reviews and analyzes incoming complaints filed under Executive Order 11246, as amended, Sections 4212 and 503 programs, to determine jurisdiction.
Acknowledges receipt of complaints, initiates, and responds to complaint-related correspondence and inquiries, and distributes non-OFCCP complaints to appropriate agencies for investigation.
Receives and processes Pre-award Requests, coordinates with Federal Procurement Agency officials, and analyzes and processes all requests for Pre-award clearance.
Regularly and independently coordinates multiple clearance actions with District/Area Offices and other Regional Offices and achieves a timely and complete response to the procurement officials for all locations affected by the procurement.
Extracts statistical information from case files to develop an analysis of underrepresentation among protected classes.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.

- Candidate required to obtain the necessary security/investigation level.
- Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

GS-07: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-6, in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is defined as an applicant having the following:
Preparing travel authorizations and vouchers and making travel arrangements.
Maintaining office calendars and appointment/meeting schedules.
Drafting portions of case reports and assembling backup material such as exhibits and evidence.
GS-08: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-7, in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is defined as an applicant having the following:
Assisting with the coordination of routine requests for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Collecting and entering program data into the Compliance Management System (CMS) or similar case management system.
Drafting portions of case reports and assembling backup material such as exhibits and evidence.
Education
Any applicant falsely claiming an academic degree from an accredited school will be subject to actions ranging from disqualification from federal employment to removal from federal service.
