This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Planning, Policy and Innovation. As a Management and Program Analyst (Congressional Liaison), you will serve as a customer relationship liaison, analyst/advisor to colleagues & management in promoting DDM programs & services, ensuring ongoing effectiveness/excellence.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst (Congressional Liaison), you will:
Serve as a staff analyst, evaluator, and advisor to colleagues and management on the effectiveness and efficiency of congressional inquiries and other services DDM provides to its customers.
Research, analyze and evaluate (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of DDM's program operations in meeting receivables management and debt collection goals and objectives and ensuring compliance with established laws, regulations and guidance.
Utilize and promote enterprise systems and/or centralized tools and document repositories for managing data related to customer interactions and documentation across DDM program areas.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to develop and maintain effective working relationships and foster mutual success.
Review, evaluate, and recommend modifications to program goals, objectives, and priorities.
Prepare briefing documents and communications materials on DDM programs, activities, and issues.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience for the GS-12 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following:
- Evaluating program administration and achievement of objectives to ensure compliance with policies and regulations; AND
- Analyzing findings and serving as an advisor to management by making recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of programs and operations; AND
- Composing oral and written presentations for delivery to both internal and external customers.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
