About the Position: This position is with the 84th Training Command MTC located in Dublin, California.
Duties
Manage the operations or support activities of a Mission Training Complex.
Develop Civilian Performance Management and Army Evaluations.
Prepare Budget planning and execution.
Manage contractor work.
Manage facilities, work orders, and facility contracts.
Within supported command prepare responses to unresolved problems.
Supervise twenty or more civilian, military, and contract personnel.
Sustain subject matter expertise on Joint Simulation Systems, their integration, operation, and enabling capabilities.
Requirements

One year of specialized experience which involves 1.) Manage the operations or supporting activities of an Army Mission Training Complex; 2.) Manage strategic level communication efforts; 3.) Plan, produce and review programs to formulate long range goals and plans for senior leadership; 4.) Work as part of a team designing simulation architecture and integrating simulations into battalion and above unit training; and 5.) Manage advanced technology enabled classrooms, training equipment, and instructors. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service, GS-11.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
