About the Position: The Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining the system administration, technical and operational guidance for systems and tools to support current and future work of functional business processes and maintain data collection.
Duties
Maintains the system administration, technical and operational guidance for system and tools to support work of functional business processes and maintain data collection.
Provides technical system support in Enterprise Resource Planning system and supporting applications to ensure the full capacity of supply chain functions.
Analyzes operational and statistical data/reports to determine functional trends, conformance to standards, efficiency of operations, and effect on future resources.
Develops and tests system solutions to fill business needs in collaboration with functional users.
Provides support to supply chain functional roles.
Presents recommendations to leadership through reports and briefings.
Participates in designing, developing, testing, and implementing interfaces between business systems and other applicable information management systems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) security clearance.
- Incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics Level 2 certification within 24 months of being placed on the position.
- TDY may be up to 24% of the time for the position.

Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience to include: (1) Analyzing data and reports to determine functional trends; (2) Maintaining system applications to ensure efficient operation of supply chain functions; and (3) Investigating trends in performance to identify the root cause of patterned issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
