This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will provide software development oversight utilizing an Agile software development framework. He/She will serve as a first level supervisor planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over non-supervisory employees.
Duties
As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) at the NH-2210-4 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Supervise a team of 8-10 employees and is responsible for setting expectations for the branch, performance appraisals, training and development, balancing workloads and schedules, conducting interviews and taking disciplinary actions when necessary
Develop standard Agile contract language for PWS that aligns with PEO DevSecOps implementation.
Develop and Agile Maturity model for PEO PoR.
Standardize Agile Reporting Metrics across PEO PoRs.
Mentor for Product Owners for PEO PoR.
Develops and maintains PEO-T specific cybersecurity training plans IAW DoD and J6 policies and procedures
Works with J6 to develop and implement standard cybersecurity contract language into all PEO-T PoR development and support contracts
Develops and maintains the PEO-T cybersecurity standard operating procedures (SOP) and provides training to all PEO-T personnel as needed.

- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft/vehicle to
conferences, meetings, or functions away from the duty office/location. Travel may include overnight stays
- May be required to serve as acting Division Chief in the absence of the Division Chief

Qualifications
You may qualify at the NH-04 if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH - 03 (GS-13) grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.
Developing software utilizing an agile software development framework.
Experience in commercial industry leading successful agile software development projects as a Product Owner or Scrum Master.
Writing agile contract language for PWS that aligns with DevSecOps best practices.
Developing an Agile Maturity model for an organization with multiple development projects.
Developing Standardize Agile Reporting Metrics across multiple development projects.
Experience as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM)
Developing, interpreting and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Identifying, evaluating and prioritizing risks in a systematic, comprehensive and logical manner pursuant to DoD Risk Management Framework.
Developing, implementing and monitoring risk mitigation strategies at the PoR and enterprise level.
