About the Position: Serve as a senior Human Resources (HR) Specialist and systems analyst in the Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce (AECW), Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA), Office of the Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel. Performs major projects and studies associated with enhancement and optimization of the Expeditionary Civilian Workforce (ECW) Program productivity and performance as well as the overall management and execution of the program.
Duties
Develops review and analysis processes and products which enhance Human Resources (HR) operations in support of contingency operations.
Provides data analysis to assist Army Expedited Civilian Workforce (AECW) management and action officers develop long term efficient business practices and processes for local or worldwide implementation.
Performs broad range of automation/cost/economic analysis involving unique HR problems pertaining to deployments of the civilian workforce.
Designs/develops/modifies/implements HR data processing solutions to provide decision-making information support related to deployment of civilians in support of contingency operations, civilian personnel management programs supporting AECW.
Analyzes and evaluates the nature/scope of work and makes recommendations to determine the need for further system requirement development, modification and redesign.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 25% may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes extract data from automated human resource systems to provide reports and updates to management; monitor human resources information systems for error conditions, updates, and downloads to ensure continued optimal functionality; provide technical support and troubleshooting to users utilizing human resource systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
