This position is located at the Clinton Indian Health Center, in Clinton, Oklahoma, in the Patient Registration Department. The primary purpose of this position is to provide overall management and supervision of the Patient Registration Department, which includes planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing all departmental operations. The incumbent will report to the Supervisory Health System Specialist for the Business Office.
Duties
Manages and supervise the Registration Department including planning, organizing, coordinating, training, and directing all
departmental operations.
Plans and executes tasks including supply needs, budget, registration process, staffing, and third-party data gathering.
Provides timely reports to staff and leadership to provide complete and accurate patient data through the combined efforts of the clinical and administrative staff.
Creates and maintains an environment among staff that encourages teamwork and collaborative efforts in managing the department.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector. Examples include supervising or leading a team by planning work to be accomplished, establish work schedules, assign work, evaluate or audit work of subordinates, providing technical assistance in interpreting policies, regulations, and standards for patient registration process. Knowledge of the patient registration process.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
