Duties
Assists the Training Administrator with the Total Army School System (TASS) in accomplishing command coordinating authority responsibilities.
Identifies and implements required modifications of Programs of Instruction (POI) in accordance with regulations and the requirements and situation of the institute.
Serves as primary point of contact on matters relating to approved ARPRINT conducted at the institute.
Conducts briefings for various groups and individuals to promote RTI programs.
Performs other duties as assigned

- This position is INDEFINITE NTE 24 months, with possible extension up to 60 months, and permanent potential.

- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

or Air Force Directives, Licensing Network Users and Certifying Network Professionals.
Qualifications
MILITARY GRADES: E5 through E7
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Skilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately;
Ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit;
effective two-way radio or telephone communication;
Ability to write English in reports and presentation formats;
Ability to communicate -orally and in writing- clearly and effectively;
Ability to assess body language to ensure positive response and understanding results; and,
Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material.
All Series GS-1712 candidates must be certified at the next higher level before being eligible for that level. Each applicant must have the education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. Applicants must have the experiences, education, or training that demonstrates the ability to follow directions, to read, understand, with the ability to retain and recall a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures; and, most importantly for specific positions, must have the competencies (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Behaviors) to translate specific subjects criteria and information into a teaching/training capability
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
For all GS-1712 candidates, 24 months of specialized experience defined as progressively responsible work that demonstrates the candidate's full competency range (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Behaviors) to perform tasks and responsibilities as determined from a completed job-analysis of the pertinent position description. The specialized experiences must include a span of competencies that include the ability to follow directions, to read, understand, with the ability to retain and recall a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures; and, most importantly for specific instructor positions, must have the competencies to translate specific subjects criteria and information into a teaching/training capability. The applicant s experiences must demonstrate his or her competency to perform the duties and responsibilities as defined and described by the applicable position description. Must have at least 12 months of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.

The Human Resources Officer (HRO) is the final approval for all ETP waivers. If approved, the memorandum will be returned to you and then submitted with your application.
Education
Higher Education Degrees are Allowed as Substitutions for specialized experiences. Education and Training, as applicable, in order to fully perform the duties of the position.
Must have a high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma.
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
