This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Portland, OR or Seattle, WA Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and engage in the complex, specialized review of information systems in support of FDIC risk management examinations.
The duty location is determined upon selection.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies:

To qualify at the CG-12: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 11 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience evaluating current and proposed new IT systems, networks, and software designs for risk assessment and management, audit, or security within the banking or financial services industry, and preparing reports of findings.
To qualify at the CG-13: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 12 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as performing IT examinations of insured depository institutions, information systems, and data centers, providing guidance in the examination of information systems data centers and independent servicer centers, and preparing reports of IT-related audit findings.
