You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the NRD SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will transmit, receive and acknowledge electronic mail and messages checking transmittal for proper clearances and printing hardcopies to route as necessary.
You will assist personnel with travel orders and vouchers explaining the use of the Defense Travel System (DTS) as necessary.
You will manage fitness report/evaluation tickler for report date due and advise leadership on fitness report/evaluation matters.
You will maintain records and files for assigned civilian employees, preparing requests for personnel action, keeping time and attendance.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing and prioritizing office communications and workflow; 2) Establishing and maintaining files or records in accordance with established instructions; 3) Using computer software (e.g., MS Word, excel) to produce letters, forms, reports, graphs, and spreadsheets; and 4) Maintaining an office calendar by scheduling, rescheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
