You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the United States Marine Corps of MARFORRES NOLA.

Duties

You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Prohibited Activities and Conduct (PAC) policy providing advice, guidance, and interpretation. You will provide advice to supported commanders and military personnel on the use of the Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) complaint process to report, resolve, and dispose of complaints alleging prohibited activities and conduct. You will perform conflict management services to assist in resolving issues or refers for mediation/alternative dispute resolution. You will provide briefings or training on command climate issues and prohibited activities and conduct for supported commands. You will maintain case management responsibilities throughout the lifecycle of a PAC complaint.

Requirements

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising management on matters related to Equal Opportunity, providing subject matter advice and guidance on all matters related to employee survey's and prohibited practices and conduct; and referring complaints of equal opportunity and prohibited activities and conduct to available support services. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related

or

Combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
