Duties
You will determine formats, approaches, content, levels, and mediums necessary to meet production objectives effectively and within budgetary constraints.
You will use production and editing software to develop original multimedia productions for client requests.
You will liaise, direct, and coordinate requirements and personnel involved in the production and distribution process.
You will contribute technical insight to analyze, diagnose, report, or correct technical problems and malfunctions.
Requirements

- The work is usually performed in an office environment. While working on audiovisual productions, the work may include working in a hangar, with a trainer, in a classroom, or in a seminar type environment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
For GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience taking productions from conception to completion to include: scriptwriting/re-writing and storyboarding, capturing video, either in the field or the studio, editing the video, adding soundtracks, and providing a finished product to the end-user in various pre-approved formats. 2) Skilled in operating standard video recording equipment, video cameras, and related items such as lighting, sound, and editing equipment. 3) Knowledge of the processes, methodologies, equipment, scripting, personnel, and related requirements involved in producing quality audiovisual productions. 4) Skilled in the development of production schedules, coordinating staff activities, and conducting administrative and logistical arrangements. 5) The ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
For GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of the processes, methodologies, equipment, scripting, personnel, and related requirements involved in producing quality audiovisual productions. 2) Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and practices of audiovisual production to independently perform recurring assignments. 3) Skills in operating standard video recording equipment, video cameras, and related items such as lighting, sound, and editing equipment. 4) Ability to produce and direct an audiovisual production; edit films, video, and scripts; and create computer images for audiovisual products. 5) The ability to communicate effectively.

I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree with a major study in photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position.
Or
I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.
or equivalent degree with a major study in photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position.
Or
I have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
Or
I have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
For GS-09
