This position is located within a National Forest. The primary purpose of this position is to perform carpenter duties.
Duties
Performs a variety of journeyman carpentry tasks involving planning and completing projects from initial layout to final installation.
Constructs and/or repairs such items as toilets, warehouses, garages, residences, roofs, etc.
Remodels building interiors, constructs and installs campground tables, barriers, bridges, etc.
Installs doors, builds staircases, etc.
Builds forms and pours concrete.
May as a secondary purpose and on an assigned basis construct cabinets, crates, paint structures, stain signs, etc.
Performs restoration of historical buildings and structures.
Requirements
- You must be a US Citizen or US National.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check
