This position is considered Regular Part-Time (RFT). You are guaranteed 20 hours but has the potential to work up to 40 hours/week. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation .
Duties
Responsible for setting up recreation areas for paint ball events and scheduled tournaments.
Takes reservations, records attendance and collects fees for events.
Ensures paint ball guns, masks and air tanks are serviced and are filled using the compressed air system and that equipment is cleaned before and after rental and is readied for immediate rental.
Makes proper repairs if equipment is not returned in proper working order.
Items returned in an unsatisfactory fashion are reported to the supervisor.
Answers customer questions about scheduled activities, use of equipment and provides safety instructions for paint ball equipment and play.
Takes and maintains an inventory of authorized paint ball guns, masks, paint, and other related equipment.
Ensures the paint ball court is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion and that barriers are properly set and safely maintained.
Prepares boats for rental by cleaning, waxing, and washing and replacing carpet when necessary.
Ensures that trailer hitches carrying boats, barbecue grills, dunking booth, etc., are correctly attached to customer's vehicles and that wiring for brake lights are in proper working order.
Uses a cash register to accept payments for rental equipment by cash, check or credit card.
May be required to drive a government vehicle.
This is a position of trust. Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be able to drive a government vehicle or pickup truck in the performance of duties relating to setting up for events, delivering supplies to the paint ball field, managing the vehicle storage lot or the camper area.
Helps in the Grill area by assisting the Cook prepare simple dishes such as hamburgers, sandwiches, fries, hot dogs, and other simple meal items.
Chops and prepares vegetables for serving, cleans the kitchen and dining area in times of high traffic or when the Cook is away.
May stock condiments, plastic ware, beverages and put away purchased grocery items.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Must have working experience in recreational programs and activities directly related to the position to be filled.
Must have a practical knowledge and/or experience in recreational programs such as paintball, camping, fishing, boating, golf, etc.
Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Must be able to work with cleaning agents and solvents to maintain the kitchen, shop area, windows, and outside area in a clean and orderly manner.
Must have experience in proper cash handling.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Background Investigation.
Must be able to complete Serve Safe Food handler's and DRAM shop training.
This is a drug testing designated position.
The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
Incumbent is required to drive a government motor vehicle and is required to maintain a valid driver's license and be able to provide a driving record. Must be able to successfully complete a physical examination.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
