You will serve as a EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST (ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEMS) in the COMFRC NATEC ENGINEERING TECHNICAL SERVICE DEPT (NF2) of NV AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGRG SVC.

Duties

You will work with the proper FST personnel to develop new procedures, as required. You will serve as a liaison with Program Offices on technical, mechanical, and operational discrepancies that require higher authority approval to provide support. You will perform analysis and verification related to logistics support policies, procedures, concepts, specifications, and requirements. You will provide feedback to the Program Manager and/or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) which is charged with specific life-cycle support of the aircraft, aircraft component, or support equipment system.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience. Propose changes, and recommendations for improvement of ECS, and/or Egress systems, to the support equipment, and associated logistics issues. Ensure ETS Management and NATEC representatives in the field are kept informed on technical issues, program meetings, and conference findings through reports via to the Chain-of-Command. Provide discussion, research and system analysis used to resolve/explain aircraft system discrepancies or corrective actions.
