You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the MARINE CORPS RECRUITMENT COMMAND of 4TH MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will use knowledge of standardized supply regulations to perform technical support duties related to procurement lifecycle actions within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) program and supporting systems. You will search different databases to extract information to resolve data discrepancies, respond to questions, provide status, verify information, and other related functions. You will Initiate corrective actions to eliminate systemic deficiencies. Evaluate exception reports to determine systemic causes. You will prepare, review, submit, and execute procurement actions chargeable for supplies, equipment, and services using authorized methods in the financial and accounting system. You will provide systems support as the District Supply AIS manager/Using Unit Account Manager (UUAM) for supply and data programs. You will manage the District Supply Department of the Navy Taskers within the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) Task Management Tool (TMT).

Requirements

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations; knowledge of Marine Corps logistics principles and concepts; strategic planning; organizational analysis and design; economic analysis; and the ability to apply this knowledge; Broad understanding of an interrelated chain of activities involving the process of supply; analyze and interpret data in order to improve outcomes and efficiencies; to prepare and deliver public presentations and provide informal training. Skill in oral and written procedures. Skill in using computer software, particularly Adobe Pro, and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS, PowerPoint, Project, and Access; Travel System (TS), Unit Travel Card (UTC) system, processes, procedures, and regulations; Commercial Purchase Card (CPC) processes, procedures, and regulations; web-based Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) program used to enter, track, receipt, and adjust procurements and receipts; as well as web-based WAWF program, procedures, and publications. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
