THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY COMMAND AND CONTROL SPECIALIST-Title 5, Position Description Number T5909900 and is part of the WI 128 ARW, Wisconsin Air National Guard.
Duties
Establishes local procedures in compliance with command and control policies of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), Unified Commands, Air Mobility Command (AMC), United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), National Guard Bureau (NGB), and federal.
Ensures adequate protection and procedures are in place to safeguard resources, to include the physical security of the command post, the Crisis Action Team (CAT) and critical support systems. Develops procedures for emergencies and contingencies such as evacuation, bomb threat, etc. Serves as the COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) for the command post COMSEC user account.
Serves as a key member of the CAT during operational events and briefs commander on all significant actions taken by the command post.
Oversees the custodial control and accountability of the command post and CAT facility to ensure proper utilization of wing resources.
Monitors Inspector General (IG) and MAJCOM reports and write-ups for the command post.
Responsible for adhering to all Command and Control training programs.
Managing additional duties as assigned by the superintendent.
Maintain controller certification IAW Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 10-207, Chapter 7.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience that provided a general knowledge and under-standing of traffic or transportation programs or operations.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience, education, or training routine and non-routine preflight, in-flight, post-flight, ground or command and control (C2) duties according to specific transportation functions. Receives, interprets, extracts, and disseminates relevant data for mission planning or execution. Experience coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems. Must be able to work additional duties as assigned by the superintendent. Candidate must be able to maintain certification IAW training directives.
