You will serve as a Materials Handler Leader at NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.

Duties

You will train new employees or contracted assistance demonstrating proper work methods and obtaining necessary materials and tools. You will lead a team of Material Handler employees and assure that employees receive work assignments. You will analyze and validate all receipt documents before processing. You will organize and arrange stock in the storage area. You will receive, unload and process incoming shipments.

• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current forklift license.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
