Logistics Management Specialist in R4 Logistics Operations. Supports IMAT deployments, JFO setup/close-outs, Virtual JFOs, and PA processing centers. Facilitates lease management, OFA coordination, procurements, and spend plan control via ECAPS and SharePoint COP information postings. Develops regional strategies, business practices, and planning/coordination calls. Other field support roles include warehouse, fleet, demographic research, and JFO logistics staff mentorship.

In this Logistics Management Specialist position, you will serve as Logistics Section Chief or Virtual Logistics Section Chief as needed.

To qualify for this Logistics Management Specialist position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
Coordinating activities with stakeholders of different functional offices and support operations related to logistics management programs;
Analyzing and evaluating difficult logistic management issues involving large aspects of agency programs and activities; and,
Planning, evaluating, and recommending methods to complete a variety of Logistics Management support functions such as: supply, maintenance, transportation, storage, property accountability, manufactured housing, staging proficiency, or disaster fleet management.
