Duties

You will Perform analysis and assessment to support the development and execution of program acquisition strategies, technology road maps, associated resource planning documents and metrics. You will formulate recommendations to the Technical Director while executing project management and technology service delivery practices and/or processes. You will analyze and compare data/information against requirements to support IT systems shutdown, transition and/or transformation efforts. You will conduct research, analysis, and evaluation of cost, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure the systems are managed and transitioned within approved thresholds. You will develop life cycle cost analyses of projects or perform cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Generally, current Federal employees applying to APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band DP-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conduct management studies and assessments to evaluate the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of systems transformation procedures and processes; or conduct research, analysis, and evaluation of cost, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure systems are managed and transitioned within approved thresholds.
