About the Position: This position is responsible for the procurement, issuance, receipt, documentation and shipment of Class V (ammunition) items of supply within the National Training Center (NTC) and Fort Irwin.

Duties

Maintain stock levels based on demand, usage history, changes in training plans, or trends in availability of short supply items Determine ammunition requirements and employ procurement methods to be used to obtain required ammunitions to support activity or agency requests. Initiate and monitor the progress of quarterly wall-to-wall inventories of the training ammunition and residue and conduct monthly inventories of all Category I missiles and rockets; and semi-annual inventories of Unit Basic Load (UBL). Coordinate with internal and external agencies to determine availability of stocks for requisitioning, issue, receipt and shipments.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as Logistics, Supply Management, or Warehouse Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
