Duties

Individual serves as the liaison by providing acquisition and assistance agreement advice to activity functional area technical experts based on working knowledge and/or acquisition regulations and policy Analyzes requirements, recommends execution methods of contracting, type of contract, extent of competition, ensures development of QASP (quality assurance surveillance plan) Serves as command's representative for all administrative and financial issues regarding contracting.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires a secret security clearance
• This position requires occasional TDY, up to 10%
• Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for CONTRACTING Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
• This position may require a One-year probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience is defined as having one year at the next lower grade level or equivalent pay band level performing the following duties; 1. Providing acquisition and assistance agreement advice to activity functional area experts based on acquisition regulations; 2. Assisting command with cost reporting programs in order to track contractor expenditure rates; AND 3. Providing technical direction on procedures concerning expenditures of public funds through the use of the Government Purchase Card (GPC) program.
