About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Assistant for a Health Care Recruiting Team (HCRT), whose primary mission is to recruit health care professionals for appointment into the US Army (Active and/or Reserve).

Duties

Collect information from potential applicants and determine appropriate programs based upon the applicant's qualifications and processes using automated data processing equipment. Verify the authenticity of all professional documents appropriate local, state and national accrediting bodies/boards/commissions for pre-credentialing of health care providers. Arrange physical examination and coordinates required professional interviews for the applicant. Answer questions and promote the program to potential applicants and other interested parties by providing complete, factual information on all aspects of the program. Identify candidates not meeting requirements and bring them to the attention of the recruiter.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The business travel requirement is 10%.
  • One-year probationary / trial period may be required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service, GS-06. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer ServiceProgram ManagementStaffing and Recruitment Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
