This position is part of the Pantex Field Office, Department of Energy. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Information Technology Specialist, is responsible for overseeing information technology, information management, and telecommunications operations of the management and operating (M&O) contractor for the Pantex Field Office (PFO)
facilities.

Qualifications
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-3 or GS-13. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Experience serving as a senior management official with the authority and responsibility for overseeing Management and Operating Contractor information technology systems and operations; and/or
Overseeing the efforts of Management and Operating Contractor information technology subject matter experts across various domains; and/or
Serving as an organizational primary representative for information technology programs/projects.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
Perform management and technical, operational awareness evaluations of the M&O Contractor I.T. program and submit findings to federal and M&O Contractor senior officials as a basis for contract performance ratings and process improvements.
Collaborate with subject matter experts in IT service management, telecommunications, networking, project management, cybersecurity, and other security organizations. This collaboration extends to evaluating their performance to ensure a holistic and effective approach to IT service delivery.
Collaborate with Site and Headquarters organizations, actively contributing technical and operational insights to integrated project teams. In the capacity of the Field Office IT Program representative, act as the liaison between different entities, ensuring alignment of IT strategies and goals with project objectives, and fostering effective communication channels to optimize project outcomes.
