As an Acquisition Business Specialist, you will lead civilian agency or DoD Information Technology (IT) and Professional Services (PS) acquisitions through the pre-award acquisition lifecycle serving as a pre-award technical specialist.Location of position:FAS, Assisted Acquisition Services
This office is a full spectrum, cradle-to-grave acquisition, project and financial management service provider.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-12 salary range starts at $88,962 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as providing technical consultation and project management for acquisition projects in the information technology (IT) and professional services areas that included:
Experience assisting with the preparation/development of Statement of Works (SOW) and/or Performance Work Statements (PWS);
Experience providing acquisition project management support throughout the acquisition life cycle for acquisitions from the beginning through post award and contract closeout;
Experience engaging with stakeholders or vendors at various levels on actions, problems, and issues;
Experience assisting in administering task orders, delivery orders, and/or contracts awarded on behalf of the program; and
Assists in analyzing highly complex and/or new/unique program requirements in coordination with other personnel to satisfy the program's business needs.
