Duties

Monitors minimum balances and inventories of standby stock materials and equipment required to support critical utility services. Schedules and assigns work such as: individual job orders, demand maintenance orders, and standing operations orders. Reviews work requests and consider availability of materials, manpower and criticality of work. Forecasts materials that will be needed for work assigned to night crews and consolidate the necessary supplies and materials for their use.

• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
