About the Position: This position is located with the US Army Personnel Operations Group G-1, Personnel Suitability Division, Centralized Suitability Service Center in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Duties

Provide day-to-day supervision and technical oversight of the assigned personnel through two subordinate supervisors. Plan, assign, review, evaluate and coordinate work operations of subordinate supervisors. Evaluate work for improvements in business practices and production. Work with stakeholders across the Army to plan for, execute, and operationalize the centralized child services suitability cell. Provide technical oversight of contractor personnel engaged in performing non-governmental functions associated with the centralized background check program. Provides technical oversight and expertise of the centralized background check program.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • TDY may be required up to 20% of the time.
  • Must take Suitability Adjudicator Training within 60 days of assignment in the position.
  • This is a testing designated position. See below for additional information.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP-SECRET security clearance.
  • Mission Essential position. See below for additional information.
