This position is in the Office of Civil Rights (TCR) within the Federal Transit Administration. As an Administrative Officer, you will serve as the Cost Center Manager for TCR, manage and execute personnel and administrative actions in an accurate and timely manner, and provide administrative support for the office. You will report to the TCR Deputy Associate Administrator.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 12, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11 it must include:
Experience managing a corporate cost center including developing, managing, tracking, and reporting on budgets and maintaining accurate financial records.
Experience coordinating and executing administrative personnel and payroll actions.
Experience developing and improving administrative programs or processes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Budget Administration - Knowledge of the fundamentals of federal budget formulation, management, expenditure, tracking, and reporting
Office Administration- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and practices to support the efficient management of an office
Communication and Customer Service – Ability to develop and foster collaborative partnerships and communicate complex, technical information in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
