About the Position: This position services as a Customer Service Representative for the Army Training Support Center (ATSC), Army Training Information System Directorate, Systems Delivery Office, Fort Eustis, VA.
Duties
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will perform duties to include, but not limited to the following:
Uses web-based collaborative tools such as personal computer software programs, whiteboards, bulletin boards systems, chat forums, on-line presentation tools, etc., in the performance of assigned duties.
Uses web-based synchronous audio/video conferencing to distribute work products and conduct staffing functions.
Develop and maintain high customer satisfaction levels by ensuring that Army Training Information System (ATIS) requirements, products and services are easily obtained, meet the customer's needs, and that short-term problems are quickly resolved.
Develops revisions to procedures and policies to improve customer service and the efficiency of the team's operations.
Assists in the design, development, and maintenance of the Army Training Information System (ATIS) knowledge base and website.
Uses automated multi-system tracking and performance monitoring programs to identify potential problems and service shortfalls.
Develops new information materials for ATSC customers, including fact sheets, brochures, booklets, web applications, etc., that increase communication with the agency's target audience.
Requirements

- Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required up to 25%.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes customer service planning, program development, and data collection of Training and Learning Information Systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
