You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COST ANALYSIS AND ESTIMATING DIRECTORATE of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
Duties
You will analyze organizational operations, timeliness, quality of programs, and value to customers in order to recommend modifications to improve efficiency.
You will analyze policies and procedures, perform program evaluation, and provide expert advice to resolve complex problems.
You will provide advice, counsel, and instruction to individual employees on administrative matters.
You will analyze monthly reports and invoices to ensure all chargers are proper.
You will provide a range of supervisory duties to include establishing objectives, resolving grievances, and assisting with employee development.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the excepted service which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing automated human resource systems to initiate and track personnel actions for recruitment, promotion, awards, realignment actions, etc.; 2) Applying skill in the application of current organizational and management practices and procedures to solve organizational, management, or personnel management problems; 3) Developing and executing budgets; and 4) Coordinating with a variety of stakeholders to provide administrative support on human capital objectives.
