This position is with the Background Investigations Mission Coordination Office and involves managing multiple, complex efforts which require considerable coordination, project management, and conflict resolution expertise throughout the DCSA enterprise and the customer community.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Analyzing effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative and technical processes for a national security program to develop new and modified complex management/business processes and systems. Managing complex projects through the project lifecycle to ensure success in the initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control phases for projects within a national security related program. Providing program evaluation and business analysis for cross-functional and multi-faceted efforts to internal and external stakeholders. Overseeing project operations and milestones, reviews, evaluates and analyzes project data and information for the assessment and improvement of business processes.
Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:
1. 3. Qualitative/Quantitative Analysis- Examines and evaluates data to manage and achieve results.
4. Business Analysis-Defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to process improvement, communication management, strategic planning, and policy development.
5. Oral Communication- Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
