This position is located at Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund Physical Fitness in Fort Hamilton, NY. Duties

Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program. Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities. Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments. Provides oversight of events and tournaments. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to endure physical demands beyond normal requirements including prolonged standing and walking and must be able to work in settings where exposure to moderate discomforts may exist.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, to include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Medical Examination is required.
• Possess and maintain driver's license.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 1. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position such as such as assisting in setting up and publicizing special events and sport tournaments, assist to deliver posters, flyers, and other promotional materials, and assisting customers 2. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Highly Preferred: Experience in Sports, Recreation or Parks and field. Facility offers potential professional growth and training in the field of fitness, parks, recreation and sporting events.
