Duties
You will advise customers regarding Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management Regulations and associated directives and policies.
You will analyze the costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management for an organization's administrative operations.
You will evaluate the allocation of funds to ensure compliance with budget and financial policies.
You will identify potential budget or financial impact of new or revised legislation or regulations on current programs or processes.
You will write budget and financial policies to support an organization's programs and activities.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Formulating budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; presenting and defending budget estimates; analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management for organizational programs and administrative operations; interpret budgetary policies, precedents, procedures and regulations; AND manage administrative and financial management systems.
