About the Position: This position is located with the 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Presidio of Monterey Logistics Readiness Center, Transportation Division, in Monterey, California.
Duties
Perform Transportation Assistant tasks to include review and/or certification of the following: customer eligibility, shipping, storage, and travel entitlements; personally procured move vouchers; and constructed cost memos.
Prepare reports to document deficiencies or areas of non-compliance with contract shippers.
Maintain contractor surveillance production reports, records, and/or files.
Administer a quality assurance surveillance plan for an organization.
Serve as a Government Purchase Card holder.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5500-7-R.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
