Duties
You will plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage the shipping and receiving area.
You will analyze and evaluate workload requirements, capabilities, resource availability and scheduling.
You will collect and compile information from a variety of sources such as: production records, laboratory engineers and technicians, budget files, budget analyst, acquisition specialist, supply activities, MEASURE data, and the local database.
You will release production workload into the laboratories on a daily basis taking into consideration budget requirements, and manpower and measuring equipment availability.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-05:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reading and comprehending shipping and receiving documents; 2) Communicating effectively orally and in writing; 3) Handling and transporting delicate and sensitive precision metrology measuring equipment.
GS-06:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Comprehending shipping and receiving documents and measure cards/data/reports. 2) Experience of operations including, budget, workflow, shipping/receiving practices and record keeping. 3) Practing procedures, policies of handling and shipping sensitive equipment through the Navy Supply system and commercial shipping.
GS-07:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Handling and transporting delicate and sensitive precision metrology measuring equipment. 2) Organizing responsibilities of Calibration and Metrology Program including specifically laboratory codes. 3) Calibrating of metrology and calibration procedures and practices.
GS-08:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching and designing new metrology technology for calibration systems, test and repairs calibration equipment. 2) Designing and fabrication of dedicated electrical test-fixtures, mechanical adapters and special cables to support engineering and calibration efforts is offered. 3) Planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and managing the shipping and receiving area of the Navy Calirbration Labortatory.
GS-09:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Operating through budget, workflow, shipping/receiving practices, record keeping, quality system and measure operations. 2) Designing and fabrication of dedicated electrical test-fixtures, mechanical adapters and special cables to support engineering and calibration efforts is offered. 3) Providing resources for the application of metrology science and engineering principles to the life cycle support of naval aviation products through integrated product teams.
