This position is located at the Fort Hunter Liggett Qualified Recycling Program (QRP). The QRP offers the Fort Hunter Liggett, CA, community a wide range of services that support the Installation and achieves the Army Net Zero goal. Duties

Receives, identifies, sorts and feeds the various recycle processing equipment with a variety of recycle materials. Moves appropriate recyclable material to the bailer machine, ensuring the material is correct for the process. Identifies and separates recyclable material during the sorting process, in accordance with instructions, standard operating procedures, and policies for the recycle operation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a physical.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
• Possess and maintain the physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push and bend on a routine basis.
• Shift will vary due to mission; nights weekends and holidays maybe required.
