THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1177000 and is part of the CO JFHQ G4, National Guard.
The purpose of this position is to function as the logistics manager of the organization responsible for accomplishment and oversight of logistics plans, activities, and actions.
Duties
Develops, implements and evaluates the logistic policies for the organization. Is the primary advisor for the command in the area of logistics operations. Ensures compliance with the command supply discipline program, command maintenance discipline program, and other directed command inspection programs. Provides guidance and funds management for all decentralized logistic funds. May be required to represent the National Guard and the unit Commander in the community. Provides technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Membership in the Colorado Army National Guard.
- Must hold the grade of E-1 thru O-2 or W-1 thru W-5.
- Submit all required documentation.
- For positions requiring the operation for motor vehicle, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
Qualifications
Military Grade: E-1 thru O-2 or W-1 thru W-5
1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

Must have at least 24 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
1. Experience involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities).
2. Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals.
3. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices.
4. Experience planning and organizing work assignments.
Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets 6 months Specialized Experience.
