You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Duties
You will serve as a senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization .
You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operation and support programs within an organization.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of support managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develops and issues implementing financial procedures.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing all of the following: 1) Provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution; 2) Ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of support managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports; 3) Promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develops and issues implementing financial procedures.; and 4) direct and/or performs continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operation and support programs within an organization.
